*School of Excellence with world-class facilities will open in Naya Raipur *
The grand residential educational institute will be constructed on a 20-Acre campus
It will be developed for 700 students studying in the classes between 6th and 12th standard

The Chief Minister Mr. Bhupesh Baghel virtually laid the foundation stone for the School of Excellence with world-class facilities in the capital in his residential office today to improve the quality of school education. For this, a 20-Acres land in Sector – 32 Naya Raipur has been allotted to the School Education Department by the Naya Raipur Atal Nagar Development Authority. The global-level educational institute will be established under the Chhattisgarh School of Excellence Society. The Chief Minister will be the President of the School of Excellence Society whereas the School Education Minister will be the Vice President. The members of the society, the secretary, and the other seven members of the society have been appointed.
The global level residential educational institute will be developed for 700 students studying between classes 6th and 12th. The premises will be built and developed in two phases. In the first phase, an academic building and laboratory, admin building, dining hall, hostel, indoor sports complex, swimming pool, horse-riding, playground, and Principal’s and Vice Principal’s residences will be developed for 200 students in the residential educational premises. In the second phase, the auditorium, hostel in accordance with the complete strength of the school, and staff quarters will be developed. For the first phase of construction under the School of Excellence Educational Premises Project, an administrational approval of Rs. 49.52 crores has been obtained from the society. According to the instructions of the Chief Minister, the period for the construction work of the educational institute is 12 months.
The ambitious project of the School of Excellence established in Naya Raipur by the Chhattisgarh School of Excellence Society will provide global-level educational facilities to the students of Chhattisgarh. The Chief Minister Mr. Bhupesh Baghel is continuously striving to revamp education in the state and encourage innovation. Work is being done regularly under his instructions for enabling Chhattisgarh to gain a new identity in the field of education.
On this occasion, School Education Minister Dr. Premsay Singh Tekam, Agriculture, Water Resources, Panchayat, and Rural Development Minister Mr. Ravindra Choubey, Advisor of Chief Minister Mr. Pradeep Sharma, Principal Secretary of School Education Dr. Alok Shukla, Agriculture Production Commissioner Mr. Kamalpreet Singh, Secretary of School Education Dr. S Bharati Dasan, Special Secretary of Agriculture Dr. Ayaz Tamboli, Overall Education Managing Director Mr. Narendra Dugga, CEO of NRDA Mrs. Kiran Kaushal, and other senior officers were present.
