More than 55% of the adolescents of age group 15-18 years have been administered the first dose of COVID vaccine, whereas nearly 1.5 people have already taken the precaution dose
Raipur, 20 January 2022/ Chhattisgarh is really close to achieving 100% of the target of providing the first dose of COVID vaccine to all the citizens of the state. 99% people of this age group have recieved the first dose of the vaccine, while 68% people have taken both the doses of the vaccine. In Chhattisgarh, more than 55% of the adolescents in age group 15-18 years have received the first dose of COVID vaccine. Moreover, as many as one lakh 47 thousand 165 people in the state have taken precaution dose as well.
So far (till January 19) a total of three crore 38 lakh two thousand 173 doses of the COVID vaccines have been administered in the state. As many as one crore 94 lakh seven thousand 335 people of age 18 years and above have received the first dose of COVID vaccine in the state. Meanwhile, one crore 33 lakh 41 thousand 649 people in the state have got both the doses of the vaccines. Ever since the vaccination for the age group of 15 to 18 years was introduced on January 3, nine lakh six thousand 024 adolescents in Chhattisgarh have been vaccinated so far.
