Raipur, 18 February 2022 / The admission process for the academic session 2022-23 has been started in “Institute of Hotel Management, Catering Technology and Applied Nutrition, Raipur” (IHM Raipur) established by the Government of Chhattisgarh. Chhattisgarh Chief Minister Mr. Bhupesh Baghel, Tourism Minister Mr. Tamradhwaj Sahu, Secretary of Government of Chhattisgarh Mr. P. Anbalgan and Principal Mrs. Rekha Shukla are the main authorities of this institute.
Admission process has been started B.Sc. in Hospitality Hotel Administration (3 years) and 18 months long diploma courses including Diploma in Food Production, Diploma in Food and Beverage Services and Diploma in Housekeeping. The minimum qualification required is the candidate must have passed Senior Secondary (in 10+2 system) or its equivalent examination with English as one of the subjects. The maximum age limit is 25 years, but there will be a relaxation of 3 years in the upper age limit for the candidates belonging to the Scheduled Castes and the Scheduled Tribes.
IHM Raipur offers 100 per cent placement and training facility. IHM Raipur provides training facilities to the students in renowned hotels of the country. The institute offers world class educational facilities including computer lab, class room, front office lab, mock room, laundry lab, housekeeping lab, well-equipped library and hostel facility is also available for all the students.
The application for admission in IHM Raipur has started from February 12, 2022 and the last date to apply is May 3, 2022. The first merit list will be published on July 18, 2022. The first round of reporting will be conducted from July 19 to July 25 and the classes will start from August 1, 2022.
