The new rates will be effective from April 1, 2022
Raipur 30 March 2022/ The centre has revised wage rates under Mahatma Gandhi National Rural Employment Guarantee Scheme (MNREGA). Now, the MNREGA workers in Chhattisgarh will get a daily wage of Rs 204 from April 1, 2022. The state-wise daily wage rate for the financial year 2022-23 under MNREGA has been published in the gazette by the Union Ministry of Rural Development.
For unskilled hand workers working under MNREGA, a daily wage of Rs 204 has been fixed for Chhattisgarh. This new rate will be effective from April 1, 2022. The wage rate for the current financial year 2021-22 was fixed at Rs 193 by the Union Ministry of Rural Development, which has now been hiked by Rs 11 for the upcoming financial year.
