Chief Minister immediately fulfilled Smriti’s wish to fly in a helicopter

Chief Minister Mr. Bhupesh Baghel, on his extensive tour under ‘Bhent-Mulaqat Abhiyan’, visited the village of Raghunathnagar in the Pratappur constituency today. On the third day of this tour, Mr. Baghel came face to face with the residents of this village to understand their grievances and came to know about the ground reality of the implementation of public welfare schemes. During Jan Chaupal, he announced the opening of a college on youth’s demand, a mini stadium and construction of a pond in Raghunathnagar and a ‘link court’ of Additional Collector in Vadranagar.
Taking cognizance of people’s complaints, Chief Minister Mr. Bhupesh Baghel instructed to suspend Patwari Pannelal Sonwani posted in the Vadrafnagar Tehsil office with immediate effect for taking bribes from farmers. The Chief Minister inaugurated the state-of-the-art X-ray machine at Community Health Center Raghunathnagar which will provide better health facilities to the patients. The Chief Minister also inspected of Raghunathnagar’s Tehsil Office and Swami Atmanand English Medium School.
Chief Minister fulfilled Smriti’s wish
Chief Minister Mr.Bhupesh Baghel inspected the Swami Atmanand English Medium School in Raghunathnagar. He met the children and talked about their education. The girl students sang the song ‘Arpa-Pari Ke Dhar’ before Chief Minister. During this, Smriti, a little girl studying in school, asked “When will we get a chance to sit in the helicopter”. “When you top in your Class 10 or 12 examinations” Mr. Baghel replied. She insisted to sit with Mr. Baghel but he couldn’t say no and immediately fulfilled her wish. Along with Smriti, three more children also got a helicopter ride. It is worth mentioning that Chief Minister Mr. Baghel had yesterday announced the helicopter ride for the topper of the districts in class 10th and 12th this year. When Smriti, a class 2 girl heard about it and started to insist to take a ride in a helicopter.
Children share tiffin with Chief Minister
School children requested the Chief Minister to share their home-cooked Tiffin. Chief Minister said that he just had breakfast. However, the children insisted that they have brought food from home, especially for him. Chief Minister shared their Tiffin and praised their delicious home-cooked Dobki Kadhi.
Chief Minister enjoyed playing traditional games with school children
On the request of the school children, Chief Minister Bhupesh Baghel played traditional games of the state including ‘Gilli-Danda’, ‘Pitthul’, and ‘Baati’ with them. He also answered the questions of the children.
Chief Minister inspected Raghunathnagar Community Health Center
Chief Minister also inspected the Community Health Center of Raghunathnagar and inquired about available facilities. He interacted with the patients and asked them about the facilities being provided to them. He inaugurated the new X-ray machine here. The Chief Minister also presented a cheque of Rs 1400 under ‘Janani Suraksha Yojana’ and the birth certificate of her newborn daughter to Prabhadevi.
Chief Minister inspected Raghunathnagar Tehsil Office
During the inspection of the Raghunathnagar Tehsil Office, Chief Minister Mr. Bhupesh Baghel inquired about the revenue cases and their redressal status from the in-charge Tehsildar. The Chief Minister also inspected the newly constructed building of this office. The citizens of Raghunathnagar expressed their gratitude to the Chief Minister for the formation of Tehsil. Urban Administration and Development Minister Dr. Shiv Kumar Dahriya and School Education Minister Dr. Premsai Singh Tekam were present on the occasion.
