As per the intention of Chief Minister Mr. Bhupesh Baghel, and Transport Minister Mr. Mohammad Akbar, the facility being provided by the Transport Department of the state under the ‘Tuhar Sarkar Tuhar Dwaar’ campaign aims to provide ease of access and seamless transport related services along with empowering the enforcement staff. Now every “driving license and Registration Certificates of Chhattisgarh will be issued on polycarbonate based cards containing a unique QR code.
The Integrated Driving License and Registration Certificate are to be issued in compliance with the ordinance issued in 2019 by Government of India’s Ministry of Road Transport and highways (MoRTH) under which the Transport Department Chhattisgarh has recently completed the tender process and this scheme has been completed and implemented w.e.f 17 May 2022.
Under this new arrangement “Q.R. Code “Polycarbonate Driving License and Registration Certificates will be issued as Polycarbonate cards are high quality and long lasting when laser printed. These cards will be issued meeting the standards set by the Ministry of Road Transport and Highways, New Delhi (MoRTH).
The printing of these new cards will be done by “M.C.T. Cards and Technology Pvt Ltd”. This company is a Manipal based IT company from Karnataka. This company is a leader in this field and has been doing similar work in other states.
Continuous monitoring is being done by the Transport Minister Mr. Mohammad Akbar for the orderly operation of ‘Tunhar Sarkar Tuhar Dwar’. The ‘Tunhar Sarkar Tuhar Dwar’ scheme run by the Transport Department is a very important scheme for the convenience of the people. Due to this convenience of getting the public facilities related to the transport department sitting at home so easily, people no longer need to make frequent trips to the transport department. This will save the applicants time and money.
