Registration of more than 3.70 lakh small-plots since January 1, 2019
Raipur, September 13, 2022/ Chief Minister’s decision to start the registration of small plots since January 2019 has proved to be a great relief for the general public of the state. Buying and selling of small plots was banned for a long time before this. Due to this restriction, people were not able to buy and sell their plots to meet the family needs.
After the decision of the Chief Minister to remove the ban on the sale and purchase of small plots, necessary provision has been done in the e-registration system. Moreover,from January 1, 2019 to August 31, 2022, a total of 3 lakh 70 thousand 077 documents related to small plots were registered. Out of these, in this financial year from 1st April 2022 to 31st August 2022, a total of 46 thousand 457 small plots have been registered. With the removal of the ban on registration of small plots, the general public has got the facility of buying and selling property easily.
The state government has also started the online system of registration, due to which the work of registration has become much easier than before, as well as transparency has also increased and documents are being supplied to the parties after registering on the same day. E-Stamp facility has been expanded in the online payment process, due to which all types of stamps of all denominations are being made easily available to the general public from 1061 centres.
Network has been a major problem in the e-registration system. To solve this, the network problem has been rectified and improved.
Pre-registration provision has been implemented in the software. For this, training has been provided at all the sub registrar level. Under this arrangement, any party can upload their documents sitting at home and take an appointment to be present in the sub-registrar’s office, due to which the registration of documents is being done in a very short time.
