Raipur, October 10, 2022 / In the Bhent Mulaqat Karykram of Kabirdham district,Chief Minister Shri Bhupesh Baghel today inaugurated the new revenue sub-division headquarters office at Sahaspur Lohara development block in Kabirdham district. On this occasion, Minister in-charge of the district Shri TS Singhdeo, Cabinet Minister Shri Mohammad Akbar, Pandaria MLA Smt. Mamta Chandrakar, Collector Shri Janmejay Mahobe and regional public representatives were also present.
With the establishment of the sub-division office at Sahaspur Lohara for the administrative convenience of the residents and the villagers of remote and far flung areas,Chief Minister has fulfilled the much awaited demand of the rural populace of this region. This achievement has been made possible by constant efforts of Cabinet Minister Shri Mohammad Akbar. Chief Minister Shri Bhupesh Baghel today,after giving the status of sub-division to Sahaspur Lohara tehsil, he congratulated the residents of the area for becoming residents the newly formed sub-division.
It is noteworthy that in the budget of the year 2022-23, Tehsil Sahaspur Lohara was given the status of sub-division. After its launch today, it will be the fourth sub-division of the district. 1 urban body, 96 gram panchayats and 198 villages are included under it. The geographical area of this tehsil is 61479 hectares. Sahaspur has 1 health center, 05 primary health centers and 25 sub-health centers in total. There are 22 paddy procurement centers, 5 revenue inspector circles and 45 patwaris as well. According to the 2011 census, the population of Sahaspur Tehsil is 152238. In which 72792 are male and 72929 are female.
