New Tehsils and portal for simplification of name transfer started
Number of subdivisions in the state increased to 108 while the number of Tehsils increased to 227
Formation of new subdivisions and Tehsils will benefit the citizens

During a virtual program organized at his residential office, the Chief Minister Mr. Bhupesh Baghel inaugurated the newly formed 10 revenue sub-divisions and 25 new Tehsils in the state. During the program, the Chief Minister inaugurated the following subdivisions: Tilda Nevra, Bag Bahara, Malkkharauda, Dhamdha, Balrampur, Rajpur, Bharatpur, Khadgawa, Bhopalpattanam, and Bhairamgarh. The state now has 108 subdivisions after the inauguration of these subdivisions.
The Chief Minister also inaugurated 25 new Tehsils: Mandirhasaud, Dharseeva, Belargaon, Komakhan, Sonakhan, Tundara, Amleepdar, Beltara, Jarhagaon, Deepka, Mukdega, Kotadol, Podi (Bachra), Aundhi, Khadgaon, Salhevara, Lalbahadur Nagar, Marri Bangla (Deori), Deokar, Bhimbhauri, Nangur, Bhanpuri, Tongpal, Mardapal, and Dhanora. Now, after the addition of these new Tehsils, the number of Tehsils in the state has increased to 227.
It is worth noting that the formation of new subdivisions and Tehsils is expected to facilitate the seamless implementation and execution of Government initiatives, help in streamlining administrative procedures, and improve access to basic Government schemes for locals. The pace of progress will also accelerate.
