Today, dance crew from Africa’s Togo and Mozambique reached Raipur to participate in the National Tribal Dance Festival. They were accorded a warm welcome at the airport by the departmental officers. They showed great enthusiasm when arrived at airport. They raised the slogan ‘Chhattisgarhia Sable Badhiya’.
It is noteworthy that the Togo crew consists of a total of 10 members, of which 6 are men and 4 are women. Team leader Mr. Ajwon Bochou Atta told that he will introduce his country’s cultural glimpse to Chhattisgarh through the festival and he will also get a chance to get acquainted with the Chhattisgarhi culture. Also, team leader David Veselina Bosley from Mozambique, told that his crew consists of total 10 members, including 8 male and 2 female members. Expressing his gratitude to the Chhattisgarh government, he said that the state government has given them a chance to participate in this festival, and it is a very happy moment in their life.
It is worth mentioning that National Tribal Dance Festival and Rajyotsava are being organized from November 1 to November 3 at Science College Ground in Raipur. Dancer crews from 9 countries along with different states of India are also participating in the festival.
