More than 75 percent of employment opportunities created as per the set target

Employable works under the MGNREGA are being conducted in 363 Village Panchayats out of 383 Village Panchayats in the Kondagaon district. These works mainly include land leveling, Dabri construction, pond construction, and road construction. 1554 employment-oriented works out of the aforementioned works are in progress. Every day, more than about 30 thousand laborers are getting employment through these works. A target of creating about 26 lakh 29 thousand manual works has been set under the MGNREGA in the district. According to the said target, employment-oriented works are being prioritized and conducted at the state. level under MGNREGA. So far, more than about 75 percent of employment opportunities have been created, which ranks 5th in the entire state and 1st in the Bastar division from the perspective of achievement of goals.
Focus on approval and regular working of employment-oriented opportunities
According to the instructions of the Collector Mr. Deepak Soni, about 6153 works worth Rs. 14 crores 38 lakh have been approved. Emphasis is being laid on the completion of works in all village Panchayats to ensure the speedy execution of MGNREGA. The implementation of MGNREGA is being given the highest priority to ensure access to employment. The implementation of MGNREGA is being given the highest priority. 14 complaints out of the total 20 complaints have been resolved in this financial year, and the remaining cases are under progress. As a celebration of 75 years of independence of India, a goal has been set to establish 150 Amrit Sarovar in the district. In this regard in the district, 136 Amrit Sarovar ponds have been marked and approved for pond construction, out of which 96 Amrit Sarovar ponds have been completed, including 2 complete and 88 Amrit Sarovar ponds under progress. These works will be completed soon in the future.
