18 police officers and jawans of Chhattisgarh will be honored with Police Medal on the occasion of Republic Day.

Chief Minister Mr. Baghel and Home Minister Mr. Sahu congratulated the police officers and jawans who were honored.

Ministry of Home Affairs released the list of officers and jawans to be honored with Police Medals.

The Ministry of Home Affairs, Government of India, has released the list of officers and jawans to be awarded Police Medals on the occasion of Republic Day. Seven police officers and jawans have been selected for the Police Medal for Gallantry Award, one for the President’s Police Medal, and 10 for the Police Medal for Meritorious Service in the list released by the Ministry of Home Affairs.
On this occasion, Chief Minister Mr. Bhupesh Baghel and Home Minister Mr. Tamradhwaj Sahu congratulated all the police officers and jawans who will be awarded police medals.

In the released list, IPS Mr. Abhishek Pallav, RI Mr. Vaibhav Mishra, SI Mr. Ashwini Sinha, SI Mr. Yashwant Shyam, SI Mr. Uttam Kumar, Head Constable Mr. Ushru Ram Korram and APC Late Mr. Krishpal Singh Kushwaha has been selected for the Police Medal for Gallantry Award. While ADG Shri Vivekanand Sinha has been selected for the President’s Police Medal in the list released by the Ministry of Home Affairs.
Apart from this, Raipur IG Mr. Ajay Kumar Yadav, Bilaspur IG Mr. Badrinarayan Meena, IPS Mr. Jhaduram Thakur, EOW SP Mr. Pankaj Chandra, Additional SP Mr. Anant Kumar Sahu, Inspector Mr. Kamleshwar Singh, Company Commander Mr. Arjun Singh Thakur, Platoon Commander Mr. Sanjay Kumar Dubey, Platoon Commander Mr. Harihar Prasad, and Head Constable Mr. Balveer Singh have been selected for Meritorious Service of Police Medal
