Rahul ji is being prevented from speaking in Lok Sabha, Rajya Sabha, we will go to the people’s court: CM
Raipur 25 March 2023- A day after Rahul Gandhi was disqualified from Lok Sabha MP, Chhattisgarh Chief Minister Bhupesh Baghel today expressed his displeasure on the move during the first press conference of the Congress after the event.
Baghel said that the speed with which the decisions have been taken from the Surat court to the Lok Sabha clearly shows that everything is “not normal”. The voice of the opposition is being suppressed. We are not going to be suppressed. You can stop the voice in Lok Sabha, Rajya Sabha, but the people’s court is open. We will go to people and tell them that we are not afraid of thieves, irrespective of their surname.
Baghel said that all the dictators in the world have two characteristics in common. First, the fear that the people will stop fearing them and the other is to try to silence their opponents and get them out of the way.
He said that unfortunately in the year of Amrit Mahotsav of Independence, all the characteristics of dictatorship are visible in our democracy. He said that it was a mistake to give a chance to implement the Gujarat model in the whole country.
Chief Minister Baghel said that it was RSS dream to implement dictatorship in the country, and now it is clear that before celebrating its centenary, RSS wants to push India into complete dictatorship through BJP. He said that the Congress has always been opposing the terrorists and has been winning. When the Congress party was not afraid of the powerful britishers, then there is no question of being afraid of thieves.
Bhupesh Baghel said that Rahul Gandhi has given the message of ‘don’t be afraid’ during the ‘Bharat Jodo Yatra’ across the country. We are soldiers of Congress, we are followers of Mahatma Gandhi and fighting under the leadership of Rahul Gandhi. “We are not afraid, we will not be afraid, we were not defeated, we will not be defeated.”
