Public Relations Department organized a photo exhibition on the 76th anniversary of independence
Raipur, 16 August 2023/ Common people, college students, as well as youth preparing for competitive examinations, viewed the photo exhibition organized by the Public Relations Department on the 76th anniversary of Independence at the Town Hall located at Kutchery Chowk in the capital Raipur. Rural women, Mrs. Chitrarekha Dewangan, Mrs. Pramila Sahu, and Mrs. Draupadi Nayak, said that the exhibition not only informed them about the schemes run by the government for the common people but also about the great brave sons of Chhattisgarh. Mr. Arvind Verma, a resident of Raipur studying LLB, said that interesting information related to Chhattisgarh in the exhibition is attracting people. Charu Pandey of Tilda and Dolly Markandeya of Mahasamund are preparing for PSC. They said that detailed information about freedom fighters and government schemes in Chhattisgarh is available in the exhibition. This information is crucial for various competitive exams.
In this exhibition, the achievements of the state government in five years and the memories of the great revolutionaries of Chhattisgarh, who played an important role in the country’s freedom movement, have been displayed in an elegant manner. The contribution of the revolutionaries of Chhattisgarh in the freedom struggle and their important documents, their life journey during the freedom movement, the Jungle Satyagraha, the Quit India Movement, and their roles in various activities related to the freedom movement have been displayed in the exhibition. The schemes displayed in the exhibition mainly include Suraji Gaon Yojana, Narva, Garwa, Ghurwa, Bari Yojana, Rajiv Gandhi Grameen Bhumiheen Krishi Majdoor NYAY Yojana, Godhan NYAY Yojana, Chhattisgarh Millet Mission, Unemployment Allowance Scheme, etc. A documentary film based on the achievements of the state government is also being screened at the exhibition site.
