Makes action plan to ensure quality UPSC preparation in Raipur
New Delhi, June 15, 2024: The top coaching institutes for Civil Services in the country are set to expand their presence to Raipur, ensuring that students from Scheduled Castes, Tribes, and Other Backward Classes in the state receive high-quality coaching facilities locally, not just in Delhi. The Tribal Development Department has formulated a comprehensive action plan regarding this.
Following Chief Minister Vishnu Deo Sai’s directives, Principal Secretary Sonmani Borah visited the Tribal Youth Hostel in Delhi and interacted with the students. He held discussions with the representatives of various coaching institutes to understand their educational methods and facilities.
During these interactions, plans were made to establish branches of these coaching institutes in Raipur. The Principal Secretary also sought inputs from the institutes on the support they would require from the government for this initiative, requesting detailed reports within a week.
He also discussed educational and career concerns of the students at the Tribal Youth Hostel Delhi, promising necessary actions to resolve their issues and improve study conditions. He instructed officials from the Public Works Department to install air conditioners and ensure organized dining facilities. He also took follow up of the instructions given by the Chief Minister during his Delhi visit last week.
Chhattisgarh Chief Minister Vishnu Deo Sai had emphasized on the importance of creating a conducive environment alongside quality coaching facilities for students, stating that opening coaching institutes in Raipur would help students perform better in a supportive setting.
Meanwhile, Chhattisgarh Tribal Affairs Minister Ram Vichar Netam had also highlighted the government’s commitment to providing top-notch education and facilities to tribal and scheduled caste students, emphasizing the need for a nurturing environment to mentally prepare children for examinations.
In accordance with the Chief Minister and Tribal Minister’s guidance, a comprehensive action plan has been devised to establish branches of renowned Civil Service coaching institutes in Chhattisgarh.
This initiative by the state government aims to boost students’ careers by offering superior education and coaching. By bringing major Delhi-based coaching institutes to Raipur, students will gain access to high-quality education, enhancing their confidence and performance in national-level competitive exams.
